 Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Sometimes we find ourselves in trouble and sometimes we get ourselves into trouble... We don't try, of course; its just life. Times come along where we just find ourselves in tough and troubling situations.

I will tell you though... The ONE thing that is sure to set *my* mood straight in tight situations is PRAYER and PRAISE. There is just something so calming about giving all your worries to the only One who can take care of them. 

(And it doesn't hurt to do so while you're gazing up at the endless array of stars in the night sky. Praising Him for His awesome creation and marveling at HIS greatness and our diminutiveness.) ;D

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.

Just as He is big enough and strong enough to hold all those stars in place. He's also big and strong enough to take care of all your load and save you from sinking in the deep. He's just waiting for you to trust Him with it. To let go of it and hand it all over to Him.
